Compare solutions with data

Initial purchase price does not represent lifecycle value. Energy, wear, downtime exposure, spares lead time and maintenance access should be compared using the same assumptions and retained calculations.

Move acceptance requirements forward

Define design reviews, material certificates, welding checks, assembly inspection, performance testing, coating, packing and document submissions in the purchase specification to prevent late rework.
